Over 1000 stairs up to this Hindu temple on top of a hill overlooking Mysore, so we drove! This temple is for the worship of Shiva's goddess wife who in legend killed the evil demon that Mysore was named after. We went inside and were blessed twice and that is where the marking on my forehead came from.
